Phoenix, Arizona-based Spirit Electronics, a certified veteran-owned and woman-owned small business and value-added distributor of electronic components, has launched a new state-of-the-art e-commerce platform.

The new platform is designed to help customers expedite their component procurement requirements within the aerospace and defense supply chain while further extending the company’s reach to customers in the electric vehicle, medical, industrial, and other sectors by allowing customers to now purchase directly online from Spirit’s comprehensive stock product offerings. The store is convenient for prototyping, low- or variable-volume orders, and “high-runner” components.

The online platform inventory comprises a comprehensive selection of components sourced from all of Spirit’s authorized lines. An advanced part and inventory search function on the site further integrates a secure shopping cart and credit card checkout option.

Spirit customers can request a quote for any currently available part from Spirit or any authorized manufacturer. The streamlined e-commerce purchasing process allows for variable quantity orders, which continue to be supported by Spirit’s commitment to exemplary customer service and robust online component sales security measures. These measures include, though are not limited to, counterfeit prevention, cybersecurity compliance, and the safeguarding of customer information, ensuring a secure and reliable procurement experience.

In addition, Spirit’s e-commerce platform employs advanced API integration to facilitate the direct sale of in-stock components sourced from the Texas Instruments online store. Texas Instruments is the inaugural supplier from among Spirit’s dozens of authorized distribution manufacturers, opting to integrate its online store with Spirit’s e-commerce infrastructure seamlessly. Looking ahead, Spirit envisions expanding this integration to encompass additional suppliers.

Noted Spirit CEO Marti McCurdy, “This is a new business channel for Spirit with dedicated internal support in our warehouse for rapid order fulfillment. E-commerce offers convenience and speed for our customers with access to live inventory at both Spirit and TI.”

“Both our customers and suppliers have been asking Spirit for this feature because they want quick access to Spirit’s secure and agile distribution chain,” explains McCurdy. “Spirit is always looking for ways to streamline our supply chain, and this e-commerce store meets the growing demand for faster and easier component delivery.”

Spirit Electronics’s e-commerce store will feature strategically stocked high-demand components based on the most popular customer-part searches. Customer stocking programs are available upon request. In addition, customers can order a certificate of conformance for any of the parts purchased through the new online store.

Due to the streamlined nature of Spirit’s e-commerce platform, customers with more complex testing and purchase requirements will continue to order directly through customer services. Online platform customers can request a quote through the store to access Spirit’s complete testing and value-added services.
