The Lombard, Illinois-based Cinch Connectivity Solutions, a Bel Fuse company, has announced the global market introduction of its Fibreco high-density MIL-spec MT38999 connector range.
Specifically designed for use in harsh environments, these highly rugged connectors offer high reliability and cost-effective performance in military, offshore, mining, and other critical applications.
Featuring a robust design that combines an industry-standard MT fiber optic contact within a D38999 circular connector housing, the Fibreco high-density MIL-spec MT38999 connector range is housed within a size 11 aluminum, aluminum bronze, or stainless steel shell.
The connectors are available with a customer choice of 12 or 24 optical channels and either single-mode or multimode fiber. These rugged connectors also feature low insertion loss and an IP67 ingress rating, making them suitable for water immersion depths of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes without damaging the connector’s internal components.
Custom designs are also available upon customer request. Please contact Cinch Connectivity for applications engineering assistance.
Fibreco high-density MIL-spec connectors are competitively priced and available for immediate customer shipment from global authorized distributors Digi-Key, Farnell, and Mouser. For more information about these and other products available from Cinch Connectivity, please visit belfuse.com/cinch.
