Raltron, a manufacturer of frequency-control components, antennas and audio components, has expanded its RSF Series of surface acoustic wave filters for GPS, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and industrial, scientific and medical band applications. Designed for space-constrained RF systems, the filters combine low insertion loss, low amplitude ripple and out-of-band rejection in surface-mount packages intended for smartphones, wireless sensors, automotive electronics, IoT devices, wearables, drones and other connected products.

Compact packaging allows the filters to be incorporated into densely populated RF front ends where several radios must operate within the same device. Selected GPS filters are available in packages measuring as little as 1.1 by 0.9 mm, giving engineers additional filtering options for compact GNSS receivers, asset trackers, automotive navigation modules and multi-constellation timing systems. Raltron can also adjust filter characteristics to accommodate application-specific performance requirements.

Raltron RSF Series SAW filters provide compact RF filtering for GPS, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and ISM-band systems used across connected consumer, automotive and industrial electronics.

RSF filters developed for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi provide out-of-band rejection intended to limit interference from cellular, Bluetooth and other nearby radios. This selective filtering can support cleaner RF front-end designs in access points, routers, gateways, smartphones and consumer electronics, particularly when multiple wireless technologies are integrated within a single module or share limited PCB space.

Additional RSF products support ISM-band applications, including LoRa, Sigfox and other low-power wide-area networking technologies. These filters are designed to help equipment manufacturers meet spectral-mask requirements and improve coexistence among sub-GHz radios used in battery-powered IoT nodes, smart meters, industrial sensors, building automation equipment and remote-control systems.

“Our engineering team provides support for SAW filter selection and integration, including impedance matching, PCB layout guidance, and coexistence strategies in multi-band RF front ends, helping customers accelerate time-to-market,” said Sasha Wolloch, President of Raltron.

Selected RSF Series filters are available through DigiKey. Technical information, individual part specifications and purchasing links are available through the Raltron SAW filter product directory.
